MANDATORY ENERGY AUDIT OF A COMPANY
In connection with the introduction of the Energy Efficiency Act of 20 May 2016, we offer the performance of energy audits for large companies based on the PN-EN 16247 standard. The standard audit report includes a detailed analysis of the company's energy consumption in the areas of processes, buildings and transport, as well as the identification of areas of significant losses and proposals for improving energy efficiency. The scope of the audit can be extended and tailored to the individual needs of the client. The next audit is scheduled for 2025.
WHITE CERTIFICATES
We identify projects that are eligible to apply for White Certificates and provide a comprehensive service both in terms of carrying out the necessary energy efficiency audits and submitting applications. With many years of experience in implementing the White Certificate process, we offer a comprehensive service and remuneration is determined and settled on a 'success fee' basis.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY AUDIT
We carry out audits, analyses and studies of technology, energy and electricity processes required to obtain funding from external sources, including EU funding. Such studies include an analysis of the energy consumption and condition of a facility, technical equipment or installation, as well as information on the economic viability and amount of energy savings that can be achieved.
BUILDING ENERGY AUDIT
We carry out building energy audits, which include an economic and energy analysis of possible improvements to the building, together with the selection of the optimum level of modernisation work. The aim is to reduce energy consumption and operating costs. The analysis carried out as part of the audit includes all elements of the building envelope, installations and equipment related to energy consumption.
SPECIALISED CALCULATIONS FOR BUILDINGS
KAPE provides specialist energy studies and analysis to improve the energy efficiency of existing buildings, as well as analysis and optimisation at the design stage.
We support the decarbonisation of commercial and public buildings, including the analysis of the carbon footprint over the entire building life cycle. We carry out analyses taking into account current national (Energy Performance of Buildings Regulation) and European (Taxonomy, EPBD Directive) legislation.
CARBON FOOTPRINT CALCULATION
We provide comprehensive support to clients in investigating the size of the carbon footprint of an organisation or specific products. We calculate GHG emissions (in all 3 scopes) based on the GHG Protocol standard or ISO 14064-1, depending on the organisation's needs.
Knowing the carbon footprint of an organisation or product is one of the most important environmental factors for a company's key stakeholders to assess, and will be a mandatory element of the non-financial ESG report from 2025.
CORPORATE DECARBONISATION STRATEGY
We develop long-term decarbonisation strategies for companies. As part of this, we develop multi-variant scenarios for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
We provide support from experienced energy efficiency and renewable energy experts to optimise the most efficient use of energy, raw materials and resources, while reducing emissions and maximising the use of renewable energy. We also assist clients in successfully obtaining available funding for the investment activities outlined in the developed strategy.
OBTAINING FINANCING
We offer to carry out a comprehensive process leading to the acquisition of funding for the proposed investment. We carry out analyses taking into account the potential possibilities of obtaining the most favourable support. We present the possible sources of funding and then prepare complete application documentation for the selected call. We provide professional support at every stage of project evaluation and before signing a funding agreement. We work with both public and private bodies.
CLOSURE OF PROJECTS
The grant agreement is not the end of our involvement with the beneficiary. We offer a comprehensive service for the project, even after the co-funding has been received. We take care of the correct preparation of the documents necessary for the settlement of the project. We monitor all the beneficiary's obligations under the signed co-financing agreement. We carry out project updates as required.
ADDITIONAL SUPPORT
We also provide our clients with support in situations beyond the scope of obtaining funding and approving a project. This may include:
- Verification of documentation at the beneficiary's premises prior to inspection by the funding body,
• Assisting with appeals against the decisions of funding bodies,
• Day-to-day management of issues related to the project being implemented.
LOCAL ENERGY MANAGEMENT
We aid local authorities in developing plans connected to low carbon economy and energy resources supply plans, together with preparing energy use monitoring concepts. We offer suitable solutions and tools, created by our agency, to aid the process of local energy management (e.g. tools for optimal energy planning).
EDUCATION AND PROMOTION
OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY
We educate and promote energy efficiency and renewable energy sources as part of projects financed from national funds, including promotional campaigns e.g. „Energy Bus”, and competitions such as, „Energy Saving Office”, „Energy Saving House” (passive), the„Competition for the most energy efficient Polish Municipality”. We provide expert advisory services in the field of energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources by preparing plans, analyses, strategies, expert opinions, feasibility studies of implementing energy saving solutions, market research studies and reports. We advise our clients on optimizing the energy economy of industrial plants, residential buildings, lighting systems, public transport, as well as heating and power transmission networks.
